2 BK roads among tri-state's most dangerous
Two busy Brooklyn roadways have landed on an annual list of the most dangerous streets in the New York City area.
According to the Tri-State Transportation Campaign, Atlantic Avenue and Kings Highway are tied at No. 6 with seven pedestrian fatalities each between 2008 and 2010.
Concerned residents on Atlantic Avenue stepped out Wednesday to clock car speeds. The busy strip has seen a number of accidents, including a speeding car that hit a curb and crashed into a local storefront.
