D.A.'s office honoring influential BK women
Kings County District Attorney Charles Hynes is honoring more than 30 women who have made strides in bettering the borough. Trisha Francis was recognized for helping Flatbush families search for affordable housing, whereas Pastor Debbie Santiago feeds the homeless in Coney Island. Dr. Rebecca Siegel, a physician at SUNY Downstate, donates her time and medical expertise to women in Park Slope. The district attorney's office will honor 33 women, with a mother and daughter already sharing an award together.
