Bedford Academy scores high on and off the court

The Bedford Academy boys basketball team is not only scoring high on the court this season, but they're also excelling in the classroom.

For a third straight year, the Panthers are making a run deep into the postseason after finishing their regular season 19-4 and earning the fourth seed in the PSAL Division A playoffs.

On top of that success, the team has a combined 92 grade-point average. Coach Rob Phelps says each student had to sign a contract agreeing to keep their grades up if they want to play.
