Parents of students at P.S. 29 are protesting tonight over the city's decision to start removing asbestos from the school.
Parents feel the abatement process should be done during the summer, when students are not using the building.
Department of Education (DOE) officials say the process does not pose any health risk. They say it's a common procedure and that the work has not been conducted during school hours.
