Bloomberg: Barclays Center to generate 2,000 jobs
Mayor Michael Bloomberg today announced plans to fill 2,000 jobs at the new Barclays Center. The mayor says preference for the jobs will be given to NYCHA residents who live in Brooklyn. The plan is to have job fairs that would start in June and run through August at locations near the arena.
