Police say nine alleged drug traffickers were arrested yesterday in a major drug ring bust in Coney Island. The suspects are accused of selling crack-cocaine and prescription pain killers from a Coney Island housing complex. According to police, the arrests come after a 10-month undercover investigation. An NYPD narcotics unit made 48 undercover purchases from the alleged traffickers, police say. Among the suspects is 30-year-old Anna Torres, a registered nurse who police say was wearing her nurse uniform during one of the drug transactions. Also charged are Lorenzo Rogucki, 21, Dayquan Talley, 17, 21-year-old Nelson Ortiz, and Alicia Serrano, 43, police say. The investigation began after a drug-related shooting in Coney Island last June.
