Activities abound in Brooklyn for spring break
Outside of the classroom, there are plenty of ways to exercise the minds and bodies of youngsters who are off for spring break this week around the borough.
The Prospect Park Alliance says that there are educational opportunities all week long, including sharpening environmental skills, meeting reptiles at the 'Blooming Naturalists' program and planting sage seeds outside the Lefferts Historic House.
Special programs are also being offered at the Brooklyn Children's Museum with extended hours. Visit brooklynkids.org for more spring break activity opportunities.
