A Bed-Stuy barber who lost both his legs in an accident hasn't let it stop him from accomplishing his dreams.Denorval Parks says he returned home safely from Operation Desert Storm back in 1994, only to be hit by a car that was speeding at 90 mph just two months later. He says paramedics brought him back to life and he was in a coma for two weeks.Today, Parks is a successful barber who co-owns Levels Barber Shop on Fulton Avenue.Denorval says he's also been known to cut a rug on the dance floor with his new prosthetic legs. Salsa and hip-hop music are his favorites.
