Con Ed workers protest at shareholders meeting
Hundreds of Con Edison workers turned out for the company's shareholders meeting in Manhattan Monday to demand fair wages and benefits.
Union members are protesting over what they say is a huge disparity in pay among workers and shareholders, and are threatening to go on strike if demands aren't met when their contracts expire next month.
A strike could affect 3.3 million customers who receive their electricity from the company.
