Eleven Brooklyn post offices scheduled to shut down have been saved.
The U.S. Postal Service has removed the locations from its consolidation list, but is still moving forward with a $2.1 billion cost-saving plan.
The USPS will eliminate 28,000 jobs as it begins closing offices across the country this summer.
