Cobble Hill school leads charge in recycling
A Cobble Hill school is leading the charge in recycling.
Seventh and eighth-graders at the School for International Studies are learning about how to help the environment and are reusing 55 percent of their paper.
The school formed a "green team" two years ago and was chosen by the Department of Education (DOE) to be a recycling champion school through the nonprofit program Grow NYC.
