Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in Flatlands earlier this evening. Authorities have confirmed that shots rang out after 6 p.m. near Flatbush Avenue and 36th Street. Neighbors say they heard two or three gunshots and that a body was seen lying in the street. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
