It's a Bronx "tail" for Tim Tebow. The new Jets quarterback has announced he's naming his pooch after one of the boroughs.

The pup's name was originally Bronco for the Denver Broncos, the team the 24-year-old led to the playoffs last season. However, Tebow says he's calling his Rhodesian Ridgeback Bronx now to honor his new home in the tristate.

Tebow also assured fans not to worry about the dog getting confused. He says the name change is subtle enough that Bronx doesn't even know the difference. Jets officially welcome Tebow to New York
