City looks to raise domestic violence awareness

The city is unveiling a new public service campaign aimed at stopping domestic violence.
Starting today, posters will go on bus shelters and newsstands throughout the five boroughs with the slogan "Don't Mind Your Own Business." The posters will be in English, Spanish and Russian.
Officials say that there have been seven domestic violence-related homicides this year in Brooklyn alone.
The goal of the campaign is to get the community involved in reporting domestic violence to police.
