Pedestrians walk on art in DUMBO

A pedestrian plaza turned canvas is allowing residents a chance to walk on art.

Artist David Ellis transformed the Pearl Street Triangle, right near the Manhattan Bridge, into his own large-scale painting.

Ellis says he works layer by layer and added different images over six days. The final layer will be tables and chairs for public use.

The project was funded by local developer Two Trees Management.
