Police say a 56-year-old minister was shot as he sat in his car at a red light in Bed-Stuy yesterday, in an apparent robbery. Police say Francis Gabourel was sitting in his Range Rover at the light at the intersection of Throop Avenue and Quincy Street when he was shot. Gabourel's wife and daughter tell News 12 Brooklyn that the robber made off with his gold chain, but didn't get away with his prized crucifix. Police say they do not have anyone in custody in the shooting. Gabourel is recovering at Kings County Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
