A young boy died this evening after being run over by an ambulette van in Coney Island.
According to police, the accident happened along West 15th Street near Neptune Avenue. Police say the boy was hit while trying to cross the street with his father.
Witnesses say the ambulette company's depot is down the block and drivers are always speeding on the street.
