Study shows NYC homelessness at all-time high

Homelessness in New York City is at an all-time high, according to a study released by the Coalition for the Homeless.

The group found more than 43,000 people were in city homeless shelters this spring, including a record high of 17,000 children.

The Coalition for the Homeless says the city's homeless shelter population has increased 10 percent over the past year.
