Grady student hailed a hero after attempted robbery rescue

A high school student who was shot while trying to stop a robbery in Brighton Beach is being hailed a hero.Police say Fritz Pascal, a student at Grady High School, saw a fellow student being mugged just a few yards from school and came to the rescue. The four accused muggers fled, but not before shooting Pascal.Students say Pascal is a well-liked football player. The school's principal calls him the definition of a Good Samaritan.The high school linebacker is recovering at Lutheran Hospital from a shot to the back.
