Tenants on New York Avenue are suing their landlord demanding better living conditions.

Tenants say that they have called 311 and Housing Preservation and Development numerous times to complain about issues including faulty drains, infestations and moldy floors. Tenants have now enlisted the help of South Brooklyn Legal Services to file a lawsuit.

The landlord, who was not named, says nearly $1 million has been spent renovating the building since 2007.

A court date with the landlord is scheduled for June 26.
