Athletes play for peace in Brownsville
Some Brooklyn athletes hit the basketball courts to play for peace in Brownsville over the weekend.
The Increase the Peace tournament was organized by the Brooklyn Blizzards Youth Organization and held at the Howard Houses. The goal is to put an end to arguments that often happen between housing developments and spill out into the courtyards with gun violence.
Other Increase the Peace games also took place at Richard Greene Park and Betsy Head Park.
