NYPD officer accused of beating teen in Sunset Park

A Brooklyn teenager has come forward, claiming that he was beaten by an NYPD officer and arrested in Sunset Park.
According to 19-year-old Sean Pagan, a transit cop stopped him without cause and then assaulted him at the 45th Street subway station last Thursday.
A witness caught the altercation on video and posted it to YouTube, allegedly showing the officer groping and then body slamming Pagan to the floor.
In a statement, Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne said Pagan has nine prior arrests and one subsequent arrest. He say the teen also entered the subway without paying, refused to show identification when questioned and resisted arrest.
Pagan is now facing several charges, including criminal mischief. An attorney for the teenager says they are exploring options for pressing charges.
