A popular public pool in Brownsville will be closing for the season early so the city can make repairs. The recreational pool on Linden Bouelvard is closing on Aug. 4. Volunteers at the center say the pool desperately needs the repairs. Some swimmers say they're upset that officials chose the summer months to give the pool a facelift.
