Temperatures are climbing into the high 90s in Brooklyn, and people living in Coney Island know the best ways to beat the heat.
Many say the boardwalk has its perks, as the ocean breeze helps with cooling off, even when people are biking or jogging.
"It's a good place to be because it's refreshing from the cool air coming from the water," said jogger Maddie Butman.
This latest round of extreme heat is expected to break Sunday, with temperatures cooling off significantly on Monday.
