Police: Speed, slick roads may have caused bus crash
Investigators say speed and wet conditions may have caused the driver of a Brooklyn-based bus to crash on I-95 yesterday, injuring all 24 people on board. The Star Tag, Inc. bus was on its way to Queens from Foxwoods Resort and Casino yesterday morning when the driver, Wei Chen, hit a guardrail just north of New York City. Authorities say the bus barreled across three lanes, stopping just short of falling over an overpass. The driver and the two dozen passengers were taken to area hospitals, some with serious injuries. State troopers say Chen has a valid license and has not been charged with any crime.
