Dozens homeless after Carroll Gardens building collapse

Dozens of Carroll Gardens residents are homeless tonight after their brownstone building collapsed.

Officials say the four-apartment Carroll Street building collapsed earlier this morning. All residents of the building managed to escape unharmed.

City officials say the building will be completely demolished within a week due to safety concerns.

According to the Red Cross, a total of 21 adults and six children were displaced because of the collapse. Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the collapse.
