Dozens homeless after Carroll Gardens building collapse
Dozens of Carroll Gardens residents are homeless tonight after their brownstone building collapsed.
Officials say the four-apartment Carroll Street building collapsed earlier this morning. All residents of the building managed to escape unharmed.
City officials say the building will be completely demolished within a week due to safety concerns.
According to the Red Cross, a total of 21 adults and six children were displaced because of the collapse. Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the collapse.
