Schools chancellor gives BK school undivided attention
A Brooklyn school that went from failing to flourishing got the schools chancellor's undivided attention as students headed back for their first day.
Students and teachers at Young Scholars Academy in Bed-Stuy were joined in the classroom by Dennis Walcott, who sat in during some lessons as part of his school tour in all five boroughs.
The troubled school was shut down and reopened, and has become a success story in the borough.
