Democrats converge on NC for national convention
Republicans are back home after a big week in Florida and now it's the Democrats turn to hold their national convention.
Tens of thousands of delegates and Democratic heavyweights have begun to converge on North Carolina, where the first day of the convention will get under way in Charlotte Tuesday morning.
The main event will be Thursday night when President Barack Obama delivers his acceptance speech to run for re-election.
