Police looking for man behind 2 ice cream shop robberies

Two Brooklyn ice cream shops are on high alert after being robbed days apart from each other and police say the same man was behind both robberies.
Tasti D-Lite, on 7th Avenue in Park Slope, was robbed last Wednesday night. The shop's owner says at closing time, one of his employees was cleaning up when a man walked in, talking on his cell phone. When the employee approached him, the owner says the man pulled out a gun and demanded cash. The employee handed over an unknown amount of money and called 911 after the suspect fled.
The second robbery happened Monday at the Blue Marble Ice Cream Shop on Court Street in Cobble Hill. Anyone with information on either robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
