Thousands of women marched to Prospect Park as part of the annual breast cancer walk.The women, many of whom are survivors, marched to celebrate their survival and honor those that have passed.The American Cancer Society says that more than 1,000 Brooklyn women will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer this year.
