Medgar Evers students protesting against school president
Dozens of Medgar Evers College students walked out of class today in protest of their school president.
Students were chanting and demanding answers from Medgar Evers College president Dr. William L. Pollard and provost Dr. Howard C. Johnson regarding classes being cut and the rising cost of tuition, among other issues.
"We, the students at Medgars Evers College, have organized and we're demanding that no business will go on as usual until Chancellor Goldstein removes President Pollard and Provost Johnson from our campus now," said one student.
Medgar Evers College has not yet returned calls for comment.
