Police are investigating after a man was found dead inside an apparently abandoned construction site in Williamsburg.

Emergency officials say the body of a man in his 30s was found with a stab wound to the head this morning at the site on Bedford Avenue and South 4th Street. Witnesses say a homeless man made the discovery.

Neighbors say work at the site had been stalled for two or three years.
