Police are investigating the death of a 44-year-old woman in Sheepshead Bay.
Authorities say they were called to a home on Batchelder Street, near Shore Parkway, at around 8 p.m. Sunday. The woman was found with trauma to her face and was declared dead on the scene.
A medical examiner will now determine the cause of death.
