Bushwick housing complex sprucing up its grounds
A housing complex in Bushwick is adding some color to its landscape, thanks to the help of some generous citizens. More than 40 trees will be planted throughout the Hope Gardens Housing Complex with the help of employee volunteers with TD Bank. The added greenery aims to create a cleaner, more livable environment for the complex's more than 700 residents. The project is part of TD Bank's second annual "TD Tree Days" initiative. Hundreds of employee volunteers will plant nearly 475 trees in eight locations along the East Coast.
