BK band holds vigil for drummer killed in hit-and-run
A Brooklyn band held a candlelight vigil tonight to remember their drummer after he was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Williamsburg.
Terence Connor, who played in the group "Total Slacker," was struck by a vehicle Monday morning while riding his bike near Stewart and Metropolitan avenues. Friends and family returned to the scene of the crash to remember him.
According to the band's Facebook page, funeral services are scheduled for Friday night. Police are still searching for whoever is responsilbe for the crime. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
