Police: iPad stolen from Park Slope Library

Police say they are searching for the person who stole an iPad from the Park Slope Library.

The iPad was stolen last Thursday from the children's section of the library at around 5:30 p.m. Workers say the library was busy with patrons and children at the time of the theft.

Brooklyn Public Library officials say the thief was able to make it out unseen despite the fact that the iPad was bolted to the table.

Library officials say they have put away all other iPads until police catch the suspect.
