Photo released of suspect in subway robbery, slashing

Police have released a picture of a man who they say is wanted for a subway robbery and slashing in Brooklyn.

According to cops, the suspect knocked the cell phone out of a 40-year-old man's hand at the F train station on Avenue I Sunday. They say the victim tried to pick it up, but was slashed in the lower back.

The suspect is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 180 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
