Cuomo: Sandy caused $33B in damage across NY
Gov. Andrew Cuomo today said New York saw about $33 billion worth of damage across the state following Superstorm Sandy. During a news conference, Cuomo said extreme weather is here to stay, and climate change is a reality. On a positive note, he says the Queens-Midtown Tunnel will reopen tomorrow morning. Cuomo says Con Edison has restored power to 90 percent of customers affected by Sandy.
