Red Hook residents fearful of looming storm

As Red Hook residents clean up the mess left behind by Hurricane Sandy, a forecasted nor'easter has many worried sick. Neighbors still without power say they're struggling to get by, as a lack of heat and near-freezing temperatures keep them searching for answers. Hurricane Sandy roared through last week, causing widespread outages and property damages. Officials say some New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) buildings in Red Hook have functioning utilities. However, people in the area say they're fearful this new storm could knock the power out and put them in the dark yet again. City Emergency Resources
