Voter wait times vary widely among districts

Voters visiting one polling site in Brooklyn Heights are finding out that when it comes to waiting, their district matters.

Registered voters in the 10th, 11th and 12th districts are all reporting to the Congregation Mount Sinai to cast their ballots, and they're all reporting different experiences.

Turnout in the 10th District has been high, with some people waiting more than an hour and a half to cast their ballot. In the 12th District, lines are shorter with about a half-hour wait, and in the 11th District, the ballots are nearly deserted.

The site coordinator says some voters have been frustrated and angry. Everyone is urged to be patient and bring all available information about their ballots with them.
