Drivers and generator-owners all over Brooklyn are dealing with long lines, closed stations and jacked-up prices as a gasoline shortage sweeps the city.Pumps all over the city have "no gas" signs taped to them, and the ones that remain open have stirred up lines that stretch on for blocks.Drivers tell News 12 Brooklyn that they're seeing unfairly higher prices due to the shortage. Police have been ticketing drivers who are caught cutting lines.Mayor Michael Bloomberg is warning that the state's gasoline shortage will likely last days. At a news conference this morning, Gov. Andrew Cuomo echoed that notion, saying the gas shortage is a "short-term problem" although it will probably stick around for a number of days.
