5 Brooklyn schools reopen post-Sandy

Students at five Brooklyn schools spent their first full day at their original buildings since Superstorm Sandy struck the area three weeks ago.

P.S. 15 in Red Hook was one of the 47 schools that were relocated to different buildings because of damage from Sandy. Students and parents said they were happy to be back to their normal school building after a hectic two weeks.

The city says close to 8,000 students from 18 different schools are still in their temporary buildings due to ongoing repair work.
