ASPCA opens emergency boarding facility in Bed-Stuy
The ASPCA has opened up an emergency boarding facility in Bed-Stuy for animals displaced by Sandy.
The ASPCA says it is trying to help the thousands of families left homeless by Sandy as best as they can.
Trained veterinarians and volunteers are watching more than 120 animals at the Herkimer Street facility.
The staff and volunteers will be working around the clock at the shelter until Dec. 30.
