DOE recruits for Community Education Councils

The Department of Education is looking for parents to join their Community Education Councils.

CECs allow parents to voice their concerns to the DOE.

P.S. 130 in Windsor Terrace says they have seen improvements thanks to a CEC. Parents say the program was instrumental in fixing leaks at the school and alleviating overcrowding.

Anyone interested in joining the CEC program can apply online until March 11.
