A new study from Ohio State University suggests that narcissism may develop in children who receive constant praise for their small accomplishments.
News 12 Brooklyn hit the streets to see what residents think about praising kids.
One resident says that they certainly believe the findings, and agree that a highly pampered child could become narcissistic as an adult.
Another resident says that while they think it's important to praise children, it is up to each individual parent to decide what is insignificant versus what is not.
