Spring rain welcome after snowy winter

Brooklyn residents said the rain and warmer temperatures Thursday were more than welcome after a cold, snowy winter.

Forecasters say the temperature will reach 44 degrees overnight with light winds and more scattered showers.

News 12 meteorologists say there's more light rain in store Friday with highs in the mid-40s.

Temperatures are expected to drop to the low 30s overnight into Saturday before the sun comes out for the rest of the weekend.
