At least six people, including two children, were taken to the hospital after a fire tore through their Flatbush apartment Saturday morning. Fire officials say the flames broke out at around 9:15 a.m.

At least 6 injured in Flatbush apartment fire
At least six people, including two children, were taken to the hospital after a fire tore through their Flatbush apartment Saturday morning.
Fire officials say the flames broke out at around 9:15 a.m. on the second floor of a multifamily unit at 3202 Clarendon Road.
Two children were among a half-dozen people who were pulled out of the building by firefighters, according to officials. They say that three of those people were unconscious at the time, including one child. The unconscious victims were transported to Kings County Hospital in life-threatening condition.
Officials say they are currently unsure of the ages of the injured children.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
