Hundreds turn out for Bay Ridge egg hunt
Hundreds of people braved the windy weather for an Easter egg hunt in Bay Ridge on Saturday.
Parents and children attended the second egg hunt hosted by Brooklyn state Senator Marty Golden. Officials say there were more than 6,000 Easter eggs for kids to find at Shore Road Park.
The event offered prizes, including free bags courtesy of the Brooklyn Nets. Kids also got to take part in an Easter bonnet contest and visit with the Easter Bunny.
Parents and children said they had a great time ringing in spring at the event.
