Better Off Spread offers twists to classic PB&J

Peanut butter and jelly is an American classic, but one Williamsburg couple wants lovers of the sandwich to think outside the lunchbox.

Jenny McWilliams and Jonathan Bogard are behind the Brooklyn-based company Better Off Spread, which makes organic peanut butters and other nut butters in a variety of sweet, spicy and savory flavors.

The couple also suggests twists on the traditional PB&J by pairing their spreads with cucumber, bananas, fresh strawberries, carrots or anything else you can think of.

Just some of their unique spreads include the coconut key lime organic cashew butter and a spicy organic peanut butter with red chili for an extra kick.
