Health officials to offer free TB testing in Sunset Park
Health officials are taking steps in response to the tuberculosis outbreak among some Chinese immigrants in Sunset Park.
A total of 15 cases have been reported since June 2013, seven of them since September 2014.
Health officials say most of these cases have been found in mainly young adults born in China and now either living in Sunset Park or with a connection to the neighborhood.
There will be free TB testing during a health fair at the Sunset Park Recreation Center on Saturday from 10-4 p.m.
